Meaning of "As a Crow Flies":

An old farmer gives directions to a stranger. "It's about two miles that way as a crow flies." He means that the distance is two miles if you could go over land straight there without having to stay on a road or path with all its twists, turns and corners.

One lesson learned from the crows:
If in my searach for a better way of life (balance and harmony) I could, like the crow, fly over the manmade obsticles straight to the goal, I would arrive more quickly and with less effort. I need to learn to fly (as a crow flies)in order to learn to soar above my problems and reach my ultimate goals in life.

"If you talk to animals, they will talk with you and you will know each other. If you do not talk to them you will not know them, and what you do not know you will fear. What one fears one destroys." ~ Chief Dan George
